BOTOX
Do the lines on your face make you look older than you feel? Do you suffer from migraines or temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain?
Botox® works by relaxing the muscles. Since the muscles do not contract, the wrinkles on your face soften or completely disappear.
You still look like you, just refreshed!
What areas are commonly treated?
- Horizontal forehead lines
- Frown lines between the eyebrows
- Crow’s feet around the eyes
- Bunny lines on the nose
- Downturned corners of the mouth
- Dimpled chin (“chin cellulite”)
- Masseters (“jawline slimming”)
- Neck bands (“Nefertiti lift”)
- Gummy Smile / Lip Flip / Smokers lines
- Facial pain/ Migraines/ Headaches
How long do the results of Botox® last?
Each person is different, but on average, it can take 3-10 days for the full effects to develop, and you can expect your results to last around four months.
At that point, you will notice your lines and wrinkles gradually returning. Botox injections are temporary, which allows you the chance to evaluate how the treatment works. This can help you decide if you wish to continue with another round of treatment!
For migraine/TMD relief, botox is inserted in the "trigger points" where the pain originates. Botox blocks the pain signals from the brain. Studies show that botox reduces the frequency of migraines and the severity of pain.
